On January 7th, the 2020 Peking University Youth CEO Club Annual Conference was held in Beijing’s Zhongguancun Exhibition Center. At the conference, Earl Yu, Vice President at WI Harper Group, was awarded the gold award of “Uprising Entrepreneurial”. Sean Peng, Managing Director at WI Harper Group shared entrepreneurial experience as a speaker of the conference.
Under the guidance of the Alumni Association of Peking University, Peking University Youth CEO Club (PKUYCC) was established by outstanding young entrepreneurial alumni of Peking University. It aims to gather outstanding young entrepreneurial alumni of Peking University, collaborate and make a difference together, build bonds between alumni, gather resources, and promote the development of alumni.
This year’s PKUYCC conference gathered nearly a thousand young entrepreneurial alumni of Peking University. They reported and shared entrepreneurial achievements and stories. Sean Peng, Managing Director at WI Harper Group and Advisor of PKUYCC was invited to share entrepreneurial experience.
The conference announced the “Uprising Entrepreneurial”, which aims to encourage young people to strive for innovation. Earl Yu, Vice President at WI Harper Group, was awarded the gold award of “Uprising Entrepreneurial”.
Earl Yu is a Vice President at WI Harper Group’s Beijing Office. He focuses on investment opportunities in TMT sectors covering robotics, smart manufacturing, big data, enterprise services, and artificial intelligence as well as healthcare in China. He has successfully completed investment projects such as QFeelTech, Datablau, Linkedsee, Resvent, and Edigene.
Prior to joining WI Harper Group, Earl worked at China Unicom for 7 years engaged in technology, marketing and management, and he led the completion of the first Ethernet passive optical network in Beijing. Previously, he has worked at Hong Yuan Securities Company Limited (HYSEC) and State Development & Investment Corporation Fund (SDIC Fund).
Earl holds an MBA from Guanghua School of Management of Peking University, and a B.S. in Computer Science and Finance from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics.
