Epic! is a mobile-based children’s eBook subscription service
(the “Netflix” of children’s eBooks) with over 10,000 books. The Company has
partnerships with children’s book publishing giants Harper Collins and Simon
& Schuster. The company uses a subscription model similar to that of
Netflix that allows users to receive unlimited access to the library for
$4.99 per month, with the first month free. The product also features a
social gamificatation rewards system that allows kids to collect badges based
on how much or how often they have read. Additionally, the app includes
analytics for parents to monitor the volume and frequency of their children’s
consumption. The Epic! app is available on iOS and Android.
