Innovators Under 35 is an annual list that recognizes outstanding worldwide innovators under the age of 35 published by MIT Technology Review. The prestigious TR Innovators Under 35 has honored some of the world’s most brilliant tech minds like Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, Tesla Inc.’s J.B. Straubel, Larry Page and Sergey Brin of Alphabet and Daniel Ek, co-founder of Spotify. With the rapid development of China’s scientific and technological strengths, MIT Technology Review decided to launch Innovators Under 35 in China for the first time at end of last year!
Last week 35 young Chinese tech innovators under the age of 35 were selected in five different categories: Inventors, Entrepreneurs, Visionaries, Humanitarians and Pioneers. Amongst the 35 outstanding innovators, the founder of WI Harper’s portfolio company CreditX, Mingjie Chu, was recognized as one of the Visionaries on the Innovators
35 list! As one of the first AI enterprises in China, CreditX is committed to combining high-dimensional data processing and machine learning technology to help financial institutions achieve user value optimization, conduct risk management, and improve business efficiency improvement. “CreditX surpasses the depth and scope of artificial definition for data mining” MIT TR commented.
WI Harper had the opportunity to collaborate with MIT TR35 China. Our Managing Director Charles Wu joined the panel of esteemed judges to select the awardees and joined the award ceremony at EmTech to award the winners.
There are several regional TR35 lists produced by Technology Review, such as the list of the top 35 innovators under 35 in Spain, India, Italy, France, Mexico, Latin America, and Turkey. The regional winners are then considered as candidates for the global list. Stay tuned!
