During the past few weeks the Covid-19 crisis has become critical in India with cases sharply rising across the country. In efforts to help, Daokang, WI Harper backed insurtech company based in Beijing, has sent oxygen machines and other necessary equipments to their Indian colleagues at sister company Roadzen in India. WI Harper together with our portfolios are actively continuing our efforts and support in overcoming the global pandemic.
Since April 2021, India has seen the pandemic deepening in the country with cases rising at unprecedented rates setting new records day after day. The fast spread and worsening of cases across the country is putting the Indian healthcare services under immense pressure and shortages of medical support and equipment. Daokang employees have gathered their efforts together and voluntarily organized donations to purchase oxygen machines, blood oximeters and atomizing masks to send to their sister company Roadzen in India.
At present, all the oxygen machines and equipments have already been shipped to India. Daokang team is in hopes the materials will reach their colleagues at Roadzen in the coming days and will be of use to help their friends in India to overcome the current difficulties.
