Stanley is a Partner at WI Harper Group based in the Beijing office. He focuses on TMT sector investments and is actively involved in strategic business development initiatives including launching RMB funds.
Prior to joining WI Harper Group, Stanley was a founding member of a team that established the Global Fund of Hedge Funds platform at CICC Investment Management Division in 2010. After which, he was a regional vice general manager at the Private Banking Division of China Minsheng Banking Corp. in charge of cross-asset private placement and deal structuring including VC/PE and alternative investments, as well as comprehensive risk reviewing and business development. Stanley was also once a managing partner of a boutique fund management company focused on M&A, venture capital and commodity trading in energy-related sectors.
Stanley started his career at the Quantitative Investment Group of Lehman Brothers, which later became Neuberger Berman, in New York focused on portfolio management and quantitative modeling for credit and global macro strategies.
Stanley is a CFA Charterholder and holds a B.S. in Finance from Tsinghua University and a M.S. in Financial Mathematics from Stanford University.
