Professor Jun Ni specializes in advanced manufacturing science, with a focus on intelligent manufacturing technologies. His research encompasses precision quality control, optimization of manufacturing process efficiency, reliability and health prediction management of critical equipment, and intelligent maintenance systems, leveraging industrial big data analysis and artificial intelligence.
He has received numerous prestigious awards, including the International Science and Technology Cooperation Award from the People’s Republic of China, the National First Prize for Teaching Achievements in Higher Education from the Ministry of Education, and the Gold Award from the International Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Professor Ni has also served as Vice-Chairman of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Advanced Manufacturing and was recognized by the International Society of Manufacturing Engineers as one of the 20 most influential professors worldwide in the field of smart manufacturing.
