Mr. Krik Yang is currently the Chairman of Kirkland Capital. His extensive experience includes serving as Managing Director and Head of Asia Technology Research at Barclays, Citigroup, and Nomura, as well as technology analyst roles at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, and BNP Paribas. He has held leadership positions such as Chief Financial Officer and Independent Director of Great Ocean Group, a company listed on the Hong Kong Main Board, and CFO of Lianchuang Group, a Chinese firm later merged into Nasdaq-listed AsiaInfo. Additionally, Mr. Yang has worked at IBM, EDS/HP, A.T. Kearney, Accenture, AT&T, and Emerson Electric.
He has been consistently recognized as the No. 1 technology industry equity analyst in Asia and globally by Institutional Investor, Financial Times, Asiamoney, and Greenwich Associates. Mr. Yang holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, pursued doctoral studies in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University, and earned an MBA from the University of Chicago.
