A luncheon was held at the company’s headquarters in Taoyuan Taiwan. Peter Liu, Chairman of WI Harper Group and senior member of WEF for more than 20 years was in attendance at the event. The World Economic Forum announced its selection of the 100 most promising Technology Pioneers of 2022, addressing issues from sustainability, climate change to societal health and more. YesHealth Group, currently the largest vertical farm in the world, was one of the proudly selected companies.  It uses pioneering clean technology to accurately control the sunlight, temperature, water and soil for sustainable and pesticide-free farming. The core objective of YesHealth is in line with WEF’s vision of creating social and environmental impact through business innovations.

During the banquet, Chairman Tsai of YesHealth Group expressed his gratitude towards Chairman Liu for his long-term support and appreciated the profound friendship they had developed over time. Chairman Liu was delighted to see YesHealth Group’s long-standing achievements. WI Harper invested in YesHealth Group since 2018 and has witnessed the historic transformation from an old factory to a large-scale vertical farm in Taiwan and Denmark. Chairman Liu lastly applauded YesHealth Group for its global recognition and hoped the agricultural technology of YesHealth Group can continue to rise and shine on a global scale. YesHealth produces more than 30 types of non-polluted and non-hazardous vegetables with direct sales in Europe, and intends to build an “agricultural factory.” This high-efficiency and precise energy-saving method in agricultural plantation is one of the significant directions for future sustainable development.

In December 2020, YesHealth Group partnered with Danish company, Nordic Harvest, to bring Europe’s largest and most efficient indoor vertical farm to Denmark. This vertical farm covers more than 7,500 square meters, featuring YesHealth Group’s proprietary technologies, including: robotics, hydroponics, arrays of more than 20,000 LEDs, and smart software for processing over 5000 individual data points, all integrated with Nordic Harvest’s design of process flow and packaging.
