From September 7 to 8, 2019, the 9th Silicon Valley High-Tech Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit (Silicon Valley High-Creation Conference) was successfully held at the Santa Clara Convention and Exhibition Center.

The conference lasted on September 7 and 8 and the participants included nearly 100 exhibitors from all over the world and tens of thousands of viewers. SVIEF brings together high-tech industry elites, experts, entrepreneurs, innovators and mainstream media from around the world. It is a professional platform for cutting-edge technology exchanges.
This year, the conference invited Zhang Yaqin, president of Baidu, and Steve Westly, founder of the famous investment institution The Westly Group, as co-chairmen of the conference. The two hot topics of artificial intelligence and global venture capital were the core topics of the conference. Senior executives from large companies, such as Facebook, IBM, and NVIDIA were invited to attend. Prominent scholars from top universities, such as Stanford and Berkeley, also gave a wonderful speech on these two major topics.
At the opening ceremony, US Congressman and Honorary Chairman of SVIEF, Judy Chu, and Evan G Reade, International Affairs Advisor of the Office of the Deputy Governor, delivered an opening speech. Steve Westly, founder of The Westly Group and Chairman of the 2019 Silicon Valley Initiative, spoke about New Energy. His speech explored the relationship between the world’s current pursuit of sustainable development and the end of the carbon materials era. Dr. Nuno RB Martins, an affiliated researcher at the Berkeley Institute for Aging and Education, gave an overview of his research on the breakthroughs in the human brain/cloud interaction fiend. Bruce Dell, CEO of Euclideon, a holographic imaging company from Australia, introduced the world’s leading holographic imaging technology at the opening ceremony.
In addition, SVIEF University was officially launched at the September 7th opening ceremony. SVIEF University is a new type of university, dedicated to cultivating innovative thinking and international perspectives for entrepreneurs and investors. (形而上者谓之道,形而下者谓之器。大道至简,高瞻远瞩,一叶不为障目。) SVIEF University integrates Chinese and Western cultures by drawing upon Chinese philosophy and Western science, promoting scientific and technological exchanges. The institution’s motto is that it “takes innovation to achieve dreams,” and “promotes the innovation of enterprises” as its mission. An old Chinese saying goes, “It takes ten years to grow trees but a hundred years to rear people.” The goals of SVIEF University are to (1) combine Chinese and Western cultures, (2) connect worldwide scientists, scholars, innovation representatives and industrial resources, (3) inspect nodes of scientific and technological innovation in various countries, (4) explore innovative spirit, (5) foster entrepreneurs who have international vision and innovative abilities (6) help high-tech entrepreneurial teams learn comprehensive management knowledge, and (7) complete the transition from CTO to CEO. SVIEF University focuses on artificial intelligence, new energy & materials, biomedical and other fields. It will bring together global wisdom, focus on combining corporate characteristics, analyze actual cases, and help enterprises use innovative technology to transform.
There was also a Summit of Global Innovation Leaders panel, discussing the innovations in today’s technology world. Panelists included:

In the SVIEF Star Entrepreneurship Competition, 16 entrepreneurial teams competed fiercely and finally six teams took home the first, second and third prizes. Among them, PROTXX won the first prize, Integem Inc and PixelDisplay won tied for second, CTIONE, SWFT Pay and VisionX all won the third prize. In addition, a large number of investment experts gave speeches at the Venture Capital Summit.
